If your looking for a good high level monster to train on the tormented demon is not for you. As a boss monster its not a very good way to gain exp. Tormented demons have very low defense, so you will be getting more exp as a result. The drop rate of the Tormented demon is very high and it has some of the best drops in runescape, dropping the player coveted "dragon claws" that can sell at an upwards of 20mil at the grand exchange. other notable drops include: ruined dragon armor lump, ruined dragon armor slice and ruined dragon armor shard.
80+ Ranged, Attack, and Strength, 70+ Defense, 80+ Constitution, 43+ Prayer, its the recommended stats to fight a tormented demon and a protection prayer is a very good thing to have when fight a tormented demon. because the T.D. will pray against your attacks you must bring at least 2 different types of combat. range and melee work the best.
your inventory should look something like this:
- darklight (obtained during the "shadow of the storm quest").
- sapphire lantern.
- rune crossbow and a god sword or other high level melee weapon ( need at least 2 types of combat).
- high level food (lobsters, monk fish, shark).
- prayer pots.
- super attack, defense, and strength pots to do lots of damage.
- familiar pouches, healing familiars are very helpful.
